Dependable
4The 4000s is the tire to use if you absolutely want to have the least chance of flatting during an important ride (e.g., race day, out in the boonies, etc). That said, you do give up some things for that reliability: long break in period (1000+ miles), harsher than other race tires even after break in, and decreased road feel. In the first few hundred miles they're absolutely brutal, feeling like solid rubber tires. They last a long time. At at 3500 miles on my last set the wear indicators still showed a lot of remaining tread life, and they had no cracks or deep cuts.

5Great Tire, fast, corners well. It holds up well for the most part, but not good for roads with lots of debris. With PBK prices you can't go wrong.

5Had a pair of these for 3 yrs and done about 4000 miles at least and they're still fine. One puncture about a year ago was a pinch caused by going in a really nasty hole at speed in the wet and dark. Still another couple of thousand left in these I reckon. Smooth rolling and great handling characteristics. Worth the money. Look nice and easy to work with.

4000S a very good tyre!
5The tire has very good characteristics in both wet and wet. Feel as if rolling resistance is very little maybe among the best and then also against such as Scwhalbe Ultremo!

4This is the second set of these tyres that I have ordered from pro Bike Kit. I rode a little under 3000km's on the previous set. Delivery took about two weeks from when I placed my order. As for the tyres, I find them to be fast, grippy and puncture resistant. I did not have a puncture on my previous set in all of those km's while most of the rest of my group have had several over the same period. These tyres have a wear indicator, and I decided to replace my previous set when I noticed that the indicator on my rear wheel had just about worn away. I highly recommend both the tyres and pro Bike Kit. **My email address not for publication please**
