Super fast, and worth every penny

I have been using Conti tires for about three years and they have been fantastic. They ride smooth and hold the road. The roads here are not the best and these tires are tough. I have had a couple of flats due to glass in the past two years

Best all round tyre there is

Fast, puncture resistant, grips in wet and dry, predictable and light (200-205 g on all the ones I've had so far

I use em to commute, train and race now, given up using the 4 seasons in the winter, these are as good

Run a 25mm at the rear and 23mm at front for even less resistance and more comfort. I run 110psi in dry and 100 in wet (12 stone)

The legendary GP4000S

Recently just bought another pair to compliment my Mavic Ksyrium Elites. They look amazing and my previous pair lasted a bit over 2,500 miles before being retired. Prices on these seem to be rising every year so it's a good idea to stock up.

installed on me wifes bike

ok.. so she wanted a more secure, flat proof, skid proof tire.. she wanted to see those inverted grooves (unlike my krylion carbon). So I purchased the GP4000S tires for her.

after a few rides she tells me its grippy and feels comfortable compared to her old bontrager tires. I combined it with continental race tubes. So far so good..

Working well

I have already 1000 +miles on my current set. This is the only tyre that our team uses. Once you have used this tyre you will probably stock up. I went with the 23mm.

Light weight and good flat protection

This is a fantastic tire. It provides excellent traction for both training and racing. I have even used it in a road criterium during the pouring rain. It is light weight and provides good protection against flats. I've had just two flats during the last 5000 miles or so training and commuting on the streets of Los Angeles. This is the best all around, high performance Conti tire I've used. It is my top choice.

Awsome tyres

These Contis have good grip and haven't had a flat on them yet. Had them on my race wheels and just bought another set for my training wheels, highly recommend for everyone who appreciates good quality
