I don't want to switch
5I've put over 6000km on these Continental GP4000S Road Tyres this season, mostly semi-competitive group rides and sportives but no proper racing. They feel smooth on the road and retain good grip through the corners even in Giro-esque conditions. I've had only three punctures all season which is commendable. I rotated the front and rear tyres at around 5000km, as the rear tyre especially had a number of superficial lacerations. I guess the puncture protective layer has been doing its job. I can't truly compare against another tyre brand, but with how good the Continentals have been, I don't have too! I'll be buying these again for next season.

5Without a doubt the best tyre made, one of our group has ridden 6700 miles on his current set without a flat. I have them on all of my bikes as well my wife's and rarely have a problem until they wear out from many miles of training for Ironman!

5I have this on 2 of my bikes and couldn't be more happier. Fast and durable. I've only gotten 1 flat but that was riding into a pothole and the tube got pinched. The tire was still good afterwards. I've gotten around 5000km on both my front and rear. Thinking of either trying out the 25mm gp4000s or 25mm gatorskin for winter riding.

5These are the best tires for pack rides and just going out to have fun. Their grip is as good as the GP4seasons and they last just as long. And, as an added bonus, they look very nice on an all black bike. Take your rubber to the next level with these bad boys.

5Love Continental for their consistancy in manufacture. Much beter bite now that they have included the black chili compound. Nano technology is wonderful. If they could just make this tire with NO sidewall tread. It just grabs dirt and makes them hard to clean and inspect for snake bites from occasional pot holes in the road. Need a treadless slick version of this tire and you got me hooked for life.

I have been using these tyres quite happily for quite some time now. They are fantastic... low rolling resistance, reliable grip (as much as you can expect from a slick tyre) - even in the wet. Puncture resistance is the best Ive found (again, for a slick tyre, with which punctures are a fact of life! Thankfully, not too often with these babies on!)
I recently bought a new bike and used the manufacturer tyres for about 200KM while I was waiting for these tyres to arrive. What a difference!
If you think these tyres are expensive... believe me... they're worth it! (I could also mention they cost less than half the price on PBK than they do to buy locally here in Australia!)
