Continental tires and Dura ace chains
5I have been using these tubular continentals and after 4 yrs of racing they are getting a bit smooth so it was time to replace them. Great tires, very fast, and in all that time not even one flat. Chains are also a great price, always buy 3 or 4 at a time and change them of once a year or if I put on a compact and shorten a chain, when the compact comes off a new chain goes on. Remember, chains are a lot cheaper than casettes and chain rings!

5Excellent handling tire and low rolling resistance. I used these for ITT, criterium and road racing. Even in wet conditions they are good.

5I bought these tires for racing. I`m normally used continental gatoskin tyres, but competition is better than grip and confidence. If you get a better record, I recommend this tyre.

5Did hundreds of miles on same tyres including 3 ironmans throughout 2013 and tyres still have very little sign of wear and no cuts. No punctures and no issues. Good grip in all weathers and all surfaces. Including 50 degree heat in Switzerland, wet roads in Wales and a couple of miles of rubble track at Lanzarote. Mine are 19mm. Would be hard to find a lighter tyre with any decent puncture protection. There is a large element of luck. 2012 brought me a couple of punctures with GP4000, which one would have expected to be more robust because heavier.

4After rolling through 5 tyres, I had 4 excellent and a defective one. Generally speaking, I find them confortable, dependable, tough on punctures and road hazards as well as being able to last about 4000 km without taking too much risks of a flat on the road. Lastly, after less than 1000 km, I had one that craked from the rolling band to the rim. I can't see how road hazards could have caused this. Later on, the tyre went flat and after checking in a bike store, I was informed that I had no chance to get a refund or a replace. Bad luck or else, I keep using them but for me Continental tubulars are on the watch

5Conti tires are great and the ones I received were also. These seemed a bit easier to get on a rim right out of the box as I know they don't want you stretching them.

5After using many differing race Tubulars over the years the Conti Competition Tubular remains one of my favorites. Tough, durable, excellent puncture protection and fast. These are my main race tyres then I train with the well worn ones taking them past their limit, all without puncture! Well worth the investment, you won't be disappointed!
