Looks great but bad at being a tire

Put two of these on my bike last night with great effort, only to have the rear tire blow off the rim 2.5km into my ride today. Luckily I had an extra tube and a Conti 5000 in my bag.

Really good!

I've put about 600km on a 30mm pair of Strada Biancas, and I've been really pleased. They're grippy, supple, good looking, and I've yet to experience a puncture. Tread still has no visible wear. One thing to bear in mind is that they really are a pain to install the first time. Your patience will be rewarded, but it *will* take patience (and hand strength!) to get them onto your wheels.

Not for Gravel

Nice looking tires, tough to get on the first time around but not suitable for gravel. Tires were literally shredded with small cuts on Oregon gravel during a transcontinental bikepacking race with 7 flats in the first 3 days. Lined inside with duct tape until changed after 200 miles (front) and 400 miles (rear). If you buy these, stick to the road where they appeared to perform well.

love these tyres but.....

I have ridden Strada Bianca tyres for a few years now and needed to replace them. I love the tyres but found no matter what technique I used I could not fit them on my clincher rims. I do recall the originals were tough but these one beat me. I have been fitting tyres for over around 50 years and never been beaten before. I had to return them for refund which was very promptly handled by ProBikekit.
