Open tubular differ from traditional clinchers for the construction. The Tyre is produced just like a tubular and uses the same materials and production process. Instead of being sewed with an inner tube inside, at the end of the process beads are made by folding the casing around Aramid fibers threads. For this reason an open tubular gives very similar ride feel of that of a tubular, mainly if a latex inner tube is used.
Mounting an open tubular on a wheel is the same as mounting a standard clincher but with the advantage of riding a much more comfortable and performing tyre.

Super roller
Thought I would try something different , these tyres seemed just the thing , I have not been disappointed they roll brilliantly , corner with aplomb and with the addition of latex tubes they feel almost identical to my old tubs . I have read that people have had trouble fitting them, but with a bit of thought they are almost simple to install , just be careful fitting the latex tubes , inflate them a little , dust them with talc and.do not use tyre levers , get all this right and the rewards are great , like changing from a Ford to a Ferarri.
Challenging
Great tyres , just a bit challenging to fit ,hence the name , once on , just fine ,roll very well and if fitted with latex tubes feels like a tubular. Well worth the trouble , super tyres.
