The EC90 Zero is the lightest seatpost in the Easton line, thanks to its full carbon fibre construction (including the upper and lower clamping plates). This thing is plenty strong too.
By incorporating RAD Relief-Area Design and TaperWall technology, the EC90 Zero has been intelligently designed to distribute stress along the length of the post. Easton also remove material in critical clamp zones to prevent pinching the carbon (which can sacrifice durability).

EC90 Seatpost
Absolutely great seatpost as it truly adds comfort as well as light weight strength to any bicycle. The knuckle in the front is not the prettiest, but I guess as it is an all carbon post (including the rail clamps), they had to build up the post in that area for strength. I always pair it with the matching handlebar as it does the exact same thing with what Easton calls "Intelligent Flex" technology that really works! It truly dampens road vibration (front and rear) for an all around more comfortable day on the bike. I give it 4 stars as I do think that knuckle in front of the saddle rail clamp looks a little bad, but the performance, strength and weight is 5 stars all the way!.
