I recently purchased the Polar V650 bike computer and I am very pleased with this purchase. The unit is aesthetically pleasing and very easy to use. All of my sensors as well as my MIO wrist heart rate monitor are Bluetooth which paired in seconds with the V650. The unit was easy to program and offers many "views" so that you can monitor whatever metrics you wish. The large screen is easy to read and has a touch screen that can be used with gloves. I like the bar graph for heart rate. I used it to ride based on maintaining heart rate and cadence rather than cadence and speed and found that it really made a difference in endurance! Thank you Polar! the V650 has only 2 buttons for simple operation. I updated the firmware which allows me to easily upload GPX file maps. I created some maps using my Garmin Basecamp app and then I imported them to the Polar software on my PC. It was simple and took a few seconds. Then once I sync'd the V650 to my computer, the maps were all on the V650. You can store 20 maps on the V650 at one time. The V650 also has a front light that can be used for daytime ride identification (so oncoming traffic sees you!) The light can be turned on/off or set to Auto. I used the V650 on my trainer and after a few hours of ride time, I still had about 95% battery left and I had the light on! Therefore, seems like very good battery life. the mounting system is very easy and secure. I got a great price thru ProBikeKit and it was well packaged and arrived safely. Only negative would be if you did not have Bluetooth sensors and heart rate monitor as this unit only works via Bluetooth and does not work with ANT
