Beautiful engineering - Review by Thomas
-
An engineers delight...
Heat treated steel, one piece CNC machined body, lightweight. A great cassette. Will annoy some because its quite noisy, and its expensive (but hey so is Dura Ace).
This is a great cassette for those with damaged splines on their hubs (like me). The one piece body evenly distributes the force from the chain across the hub, therefore stopping single cogs cutting into the spline.

This intricately machined work of art is the the technological highlight of the Sram group. - Review by Paul

Of the big three group manufacturers(Campy, Shimano, Sram), Sram by far makes the most exotic flagship cassette. The one-piece machining process is some impressive engineering. Thumbs up to Sram for going this far to make their product better.

light and fast shifting - Review by Kenny

Other people mention about how noisy it is. but I kind of like the noise,,,its the perfect cassette if your trying to build a light bike...I believe everyone should give this cassette a try because there's different feelings about it

...needs some refining but brilliant idea - Review by Duncan
-
Super light and durable (this cassette will see at least 3-4 times the life of most of it's alum/ti counterparts). It is noisy and does shift a little poorly on downshifts or under high load. The idea of a CNC machined steel cassette is a great innovation...hence 4 stars!

avoid the 11-28 Red Cassette - Review by Mike
-
Yes it is probably one of the lightest cassettes out there and it looks sexy with the red inner wall shining through your rims but the 11-28 ratio does not shift well at all, interestingly the cheaper 1070 Cassette in 11-28 that I also have shifts much better at the expense of 30-40 grams. I am used to smooth shifts that Shimano offers, Sram is louder but for the most part close to Shimano. Interestingly even the Pro's seem to dislike the Red Cassettes since you see many of them running the 1070 with the red group. The 11-26 ratio is ok, I tried it as well but for the top shelf group from SRAM you would expect better.

the ultimate! - Review by duzza

Possibly the best cassette you can buy, at around 160g one of the lightest as well. Shifts are fast and accurate up and down, some reviews mention that the cassette is noisier than others because it is hollow but I haven't found this. it is expensive but no more so than other top end cassettes. A great purchase.

Expensive but great! - Review by Troy

If this is in your budget range then this is the best cassette you can buy! Some people I have talked to question the missing teeth but when you're on a big climb or a fast sprint you can be assured of a perfect shift every time!
