The Colnago Master is exactly that. A master piece. The famous clover leaf tubes on the frame and the detail in the construction are magnificent. It's great to see that it's still hand made in Italy in Ernesto's basement. The quality and depth of the paint PR82 is superb. It glistens in the sun so much that it almost blinds you. It gets a lot of comments from the bunch too.
The ride of the Master X-Light frame is very very responsive. Every inch of force placed on the pedals directly translates to power on the ground. It's cornering ability is sure footed. It feels strong and stable.
The weight is not overly light but built up with a careful selection of parts you can build your Master X-Light to around 7.5kg's. That's heavy by any means.
I would highly recommend one as a second bike for a dry sunny day bike. You'll love it.
