With Dura Ace or Ultegra brake levers these work wonderfully. The same goes for the levers from any other brand, including Sram or Campagnolo- they're a little softer, but not to sof. The standard pads are very good too, especially in the wet. The only drawback with these-aside from the price-is the slightly open thrust bearing on teh second pivot, which over long periods, and especially after winter, will need to be stripped and cleaned.

Wow, my initial thoughts, these badboys are by far the most powerful brakes I have ever encountered.
I like the installation, very easy as with my Shimano products.
The brake pads themselves are of a high standard.
My only initial criticism is the internal cable routing (within shifters). Although it looks clean, it seems to create some drag on the brake lines and essentially some of the braking performance.
I have now solved this by using some teflon lube within the outer cable.
Great Brakes!
