This gives you a little bit of everything to try out before investing in a large quantity. The gels are more liquid than competitors and are easy to get down. The 2:1 electrolyte is sweet tasting but mild on taste. I think this will be my new drink of choice. I haven't tried the recovery one yet as I'm saving it for a harder ride.

Having tried powdered drinks before didn't think this would be any different, but WOW this stuff is great. Dilutes easily and tastes Great. Pity you can only order 5 units per customer.

I've spread out this pack over 2-3 races and have found the products to be good. Gels are a bit more liquid than those of competitors which is a plus in my opinion (you don't feel like you've just cut your breath when you take one). Powders are also good.

I've never tried High5 before but when I had my first big race coming up (Bergen-Voss) I thought I'd make use of this pack because it included everything I needed - from pre race, through during the race and then recovery afterwards. They were really easy on the stomach and tasted great. I also have to say that I had the best day out on the bike.

A great way to try the entire High5 race range. I find the entire gel range to be a worthwhile addition to your race/training energy stocks. The powder’s taste good, but are nothing standout compared with all the other powders out there. The “extreme” sachet didn’t do anything special for me either

After having used five other energy gel/drink brands, I can safely say that these are the most flavourful of these kinds of products out there. Fruit tastes as its name would indicate and not like a Skittle version of it. They digest with no problem and are consumed with great ease.

One of the best tasting gels and energy drinks I have had.The Race kit has everything you need to cover both Racing and training.The best thing about this pack is it gives you the opportunity to try the different gels and energy drinks so you will know what works and tastes best for you.

Great (and cheap) way to try a range of High 5 products: gels and various powders. Energy powders OK but the gels are better. Includes 3 little guidebooks (MTB, road, tri) which are interesting (they recommend a really high level of supplement intake).

I read the manual for a 60mile event. followed through the dosage preload and during the ride.... cramped up at the end.

Didnt work for me but does taste good.

Pretty good value when you consider that these gels and bars, etc generally cost a pound or so each if you buy them separately.

As others have said, you wouldn't go through all these on one ride - personally I think the marketing men at the energy-powder companies and cycle mag journalists (mags in which the energy-powder companies advertise...) are in league to tell you that you need to get through tons of these things, but in practice I keep them for having a couple in a sportive or 100mile TT.

For individual sachets I don't think you can do better on price. I generally can eat most gels and drinks on the bike and be OK. That being said there is enough variety that I suspect most people can find something they like in this pack.

Really good and cheap way of trying out a different brand of nutrition, they say that it is enough nutrition for one race but I have found I use less than the "recommended" amount. A wide variety of flavours to choose from and I think that these are some of the best value gels and powders around.
