Designed for use with SPD shoes, these Ultegra level pedals have a lightweight, aerodynamic platform for stability and effective power transfer when riding.

Key Features:

Aerodynamic wide platform for efficient and stable power transfer.
Single sided SPD mechanism, so compatible with MTB and/or touring shoes with SPD cleats.
Adjustable entry and release mechanism tension so you can set it as tight or loose as you like it.
Durable chrome-moly spindle.
Includes pair of SM-SH51 single direction release cleats. Can also be used with multi-direction release cleats which are available separately.

Beautifully smooth, top quality and astonishingly light. - Review by road.cc - April 2010

As these are an Ultegra level pedal you'd expect them to be well made and smooth and you wouldn't be wrong. They're smoother than a politician licking a floating voter's baby and they made the Crank Bros Candys that I usually ride feel like they'd been greased with cat litter and tar. They should be well sealed too.
Beautifully smooth, top quality and astonishingly light but the single sided entry might limit their appeal.
