Good tape, lots of stretch. - Review by Matthew
-
Very easy to put on, has plenty of stretch to easily get it around, great for a practice if you haven't wrapped tape before. Nice and soft, but could use a little more padding, and the lighter colours will attract lots of dirt, but are cleanable.

nice tape, easy to fit, cheap - Review by BR
-
I have tried many different tapes and this one was the easiest to fit on. It looks nice and comes in tons of colours, the end plugs fit nicely and snug and the finishing tape works well.
The tape doesn't seem durable, but I change tape frequently so its not an issue for me

Not bad.....not great - Review by David

Used this for about 4 months, it has worn quite a bit during this time was professionally fitted at the start. Also didn't find it especially grippy, will probably try a different tape when I come to replace it.
But nothing massively wrong with it.

great item for price - Review by Mike Jones
-
I got the bar tape on sale for ~$8CAD, but worth the regular price of $10. You get a huge assortment of colours. The tape seems quite durable, though not very cushiony. It's still better than the cork/foam bar tape my LBS sells for the same price.
one con: the included Deda tape for taping the end of your bar tape at the top of the bars is not very sticky --> better to use electrical tape.

Decent tape for cheap - Review by Isaac
-
I admit it, I was just being cheap instead of springing for the Cinelli that I used to have on my bike (which held up quite well, but left a ton of ugly tape residue).
The Deda seems to be fine. It appears to be slightly slicker / smoother than the Cinelli cork, which I do not prefer, but may be slightly tougher and easier to keep clean? Padding is okay, nothing amazing. It went on okay, but didn't seem to stretch as nice as I thought it should.
Can't say about the dirt repulsion as I got the gunmetal grey which hides bike grime really well.

Good tape, could use a bit more cushion - Review by adizzle
-
Overall, this tape is pretty good for the price. However, if you are looking for more cushion check out lizardskins dsp 2.5mm. The Deda tape is easy to install but I prefer a bit more cushion.

Bought one for my cyclocross bike and has been providing great grip + padding. Not too fancy, but great value.

A great value - Review by David

Deda Handlebar Tape is one of the cheaper choices available, but it does not sacrifice any on quality. It lasts as long as any cork tape - although not as long as Fizik Microtex. As far as cork tape goes it provides great grip, easy installation and a small amount of cushion. As far as cork - or synthetic cork - goes the Deda handlebar tape is as good as the best but for not quite as much money.
If you are looking for an inexpensive, great performing handlebar tape the Deda tape is a great choice.

Good reliable bar tape - Review by code618
-
This tape is a good mix of value and durability. I have only had the white tape in this range so I can't comment on the other colours (you can't fault the range though!). Not the grippiest out there but it is very durable and looks bling in white when first applied. Great value too.

Good, not perfect. - Review by Barry
-
This tape is very much like the other "synthetic cork" tapes out there: made of a fine-textured foam. It stretches during installation, which I see as a good thing (allows a better wrap). It has good cushioning and grip characteristics, and stays reasonably clean. Unfortunately, in my experience, it also tears relatively easily - so mine had a couple of rips in it within a couple of months of installation.

Gold tape earns a silver star. - Review by James
-
This tape is a great value but when it comes to longer rides with poor surfaces you may be better off getting a more expensive tape.
The gold "carbon" texture looks amazing. It is definitely gold, not coppery at all. Comfort is there, but really all this tape does it add some grip over a nude bar. It definitely does not provide the same cushion as a gel tape.

Decent tape at a reasonable price - Review by Tids
-
I got the silver tape which is not cork but sort of like a rubberised tape. It's a little slippery, not as grippy as cork and a bit harder. It looks fantastic on a silver frame and doesn't seem to wear. Have had this tape for over a year and it still looks like I have just put it on.
Great tape for durability and looks but not so good for grip and comfort (would stick to cork for that).

cheap practice tape - Review by j_wang
-
I bought these black tapes a while back when I first got my fixie and didn't know how to properly wrap my handle bars, thanks to youtube I did a decently horrible job but I was able to unwrap them and use them again. They're good for practicing before you splurge on a more expensive tape.

Good bar tape - Review by Michael
-
I bought the gold textured tape, which matches the gold script on my frame quite well. It has lasted really well. It has a smooth surface that doesn't wear like some tapes. The tape has some give to it, making it easy on the hands. It is not as grippy as some I have tried, but the more grippy stuff tends to wear much faster.
