Average tape with a big name - Review by David
-
Cinelli Cork Ribbon handlebar tape is just as good as any other, but for a little bit more money than most. Cork is nice for its slight cushion, ease of installation and good grip even when slightly wet. Cork is not as durable as synthetic leather or leather but the aforementioned benefits and lower price often outweigh more expensive alternatives.
Cinelli has a huge range of colors, which is the only real quality that sets it apart from other brands. As far as performance it is just as good as any other but a bit more expensive. In my opinion save your money and buy something else unless you really need that unique color.

very durable tape - Review by Daniel

I'm not a big fan of cork but this tape is really nice. Very grippy. Hard to re-wrap if you need to remove it to fix your shifters or something. good tape though.

Great classic cork tape - Review by Oliver
-
I love re-wrapping my bars with new tape and this stuff does the job, looks neat and is comfortable to ride with. I got the black tape and if you're after something completely black be aware that this stuff has cork (?) flecks through it... not something I was really concerned with, just thought I'd mention it.
The only downside of this tape is how hard it is to get off when re-wrapping. Because of the sticky backing the tape rips and leaves chunks all over my bars. Other than that, it's good gear and I'd recommend it.
