If an item is not available for selection this indicates that we are currently out of stock of this item (we would never sell you something we don't have in our warehouse). To find out about availability on a missing item simply find it as an individual item and click the 'EMAIL ME' button for a stock alert at a later date.
Brand new design for 2011, the Veloce groupset gives you top of the range components which offer technical solutions just like Centaur but with an even more aggressive price/quality ratio.
One of the main features is the new Power Torque system which makes it possible for very high torsional stiffness and efficient power transmission. Combined with the new XPSS shifting system you get fast and precise shifting in all conditions.
Key Features:
- Chainset - features the new Power Torque axle system.
- Ergopower Shifters - Power-Shift allows up to 3 upshifts and single downshifts in one stroke - simple and precise.
- Brakeset - you'll have the necessary security at all times.
- Rear Derailleur - Ultra-Shift parallelogram is stiff and light for accurate shifting.
- Front Derailleur - compatible with Standard and Compact chainset and weighs less than 100g.
- Chain - HD-Link system with treated steel links for a long life.
- Cassette - Ultra-Drive technology gives perfect synchronisation in traction and rapid shifting.
- BB - PT cups specific to this axle design.
A groupset typically consists of 8 items - chainset, BB, shifters, brakeset, rear & front derailleur, cassette and chain. Please make sure you select all of these overleaf (an own brand cableset is included with all shifter sets).
Don't forget you can customise your groupset with items like a Nokon cableset or coloured Hudz by clicking 'CUSTOMIZE' above. Please note that with extras (hoods, cables and jockey wheels etc) these will require fitting and you will still receive the original equipment. With the Nokon cables you require 2 sets for a groupset (for brake and gear).
Please note: Groupsets may contain OE parts which won't be boxed. Please make sure you select the correct options on all of your components overleaf.

I have used this for about 3months on my carbon road bike and found it very reliable, easy to use.

Easy crisp shifting. Particularly like the downshift in the thumb position, easy to change while keeping low/descending.
Seem pretty reliable so far.
Good entry level into Campag, for the price.

As previous review, are heavier than top end groupsets.
Back brake has required a bit of work to keep it tight but this is more likely due to the fitting than the brake itself.
Up very steep hills, changing gear is difficult but I don't have experience of top end groupsets to compare against.(Posted on 15/11/2011)

I installed a 2011 Veloce groupset on an old steel Guerciotti a few months ago. It was simple to set up and has behaved flawlessly over about 1500kms. The drivetrain runs very quietly, and apart from cleaning has not required any maintenance.
If you're a weight-weenie, you might want to invest in a higher-end group; but if, like me, you could afford to lose 10kg off your body before you worry about the weight of your components, then you really can't go wrong.
Oh, and the silver version looks great on a retro frame.(Posted on 06/08/2011)
