Ask anyone to build up their lottery win bike and Campagnolo Super Record is a dead cert. The mix of carbon fibre, titanium and awesome performance gives one of the most aggressive and best performing groupsets ever built.

Campagnolo's 11-speed 'Revolution 11' system is the result of technical refinements that have led the 11-speed drivetrains to obtain shifting performances like never before and lose weight, thanks to special materials and innovative technical solutions.

Key Features:

  • Chainset - select the optional titanium axle for one of the lightest and strongest chainsets available. CULT ceramic bearings ensure smooth and efficient running.
  • Ergopower Shifters - with titanium mechanicals and Ultra-Shift technology which allows up to 3 upshifts and 5 downshifts in one stroke.
  • Brakeset - calipers differentiated front/back to provide power and feel where it's needed most.
  • Rear Derailleur - carbon fibre front and back plate for lightweight plus ceramic jockey wheel bearings make this the ultimate rear mech.
  • Front Derailleur - light and fast with a carbon fibre outer cage.
  • Chain - ultra narrow 11-speed design with treated steel links for a long life.
  • Cassette - Ultra-Shift technology again provides quick and accurate shifts plus some more titanium for good measure.
  • BB - Super Record Ultra-Torque BB cups have been tried and tested.

A groupset typically consists of 8 items - chainset, BB, shifters, brakeset, rear & front derailleur, cassette and chain. Please make sure you select all of these overleaf (an own brand cableset is included with all shifter sets).

Don't forget you can customise your groupset with items like a Nokon cableset or coloured Hudz by clicking 'CUSTOMIZE' above. Please note that with extras (hoods, cables and jockey wheels etc) these will require fitting and you will still receive the original equipment. With the Nokon cables you require 2 sets for a groupset (for brake and gear).

Please note: Groupsets may contain OE parts which won't be boxed. Please make sure you select the correct options on all of your components overleaf.

The new gruppo, without the titanium option, is lighter than SRAM Red - Review by Bikeradar.com - Sept 2010

"...Campagnolo have also added new performance features to the group. Refined cable routing should eliminate cable bulges under the Ergopower hoods, and the levers also feature a new ratchet system that produces a heavier, more positive shift action and feel, which is born from continuing feedback about the 11-speed’s light action."

Excellent, almost flawless groupset - Review by Rousslang

I had been using Shimano since 1970, but switched to Campagnolo in 2001, because I wanted to be able to do my own repairs. I don't like throw-away technology (Shimano). - just my personal preference.

With 2009 11sp Super Record on my Look 586, after almost 8000 km, every component is still working perfectly, with only minor tuning to adjust derailleurs for slight cable stretch. There have been two small problems. The rear derailleur cable frayed and I replaced it a little sooner than I expected. And, the cosmetic clear coat on the front derailleur has de-laminated slightly, and I repaired that with a drop of super glue (by capillary action).

The shifting is crisp and precise. I've only dropped the chain once, and it occurred when shifting quickly right at the beginning of a very short, steep climb. My 10sp Campagnolo Record on a 2001 Klein Quantum Pro has quite a few more kms on it, and has also been reliable, although I did have to rebuild the Ergo Shifter for the rear derailleur, accomplished by following the Campagnolo repair video.

I have been replacing the chain at 2500 km intervals, to save the somewhat expensive chainrings and cassettes, and rather than purchasing the expensive Campy Chain Tool, have gotten flawless performance from KMC's 11sp missing link, which I beta tested for them.

5 stars for Super Record 11sp is not even close to being an exaggeration. (The frayed cable was even covered by warranty, even though, in the past, I've always chalked that up to normal wear and tear. This might be more a reflection of my LBS, where I purchased the bike).

Unnecessary 11 speed - Review by Grayhead

I switched to super record 11 from DA 7900, after two months I did not find any difference(despite it's innovative technical solution) except cutting some grams. Beside that I have had to change the freehub for my rear wheel, yes you need more time for tuning the bike! I sold the super record groupset and stuck to Dura- Ace. Hope that Campagnolo produces Campy 10 speed groupset in the future.

shifting - Review by dasda1

This is the worst groupset! Adding the extra cassette ratio makes it harder to stay tuned. You will be tuning the bike more than riding it. Go back to the 10 speed! I sold my super record and switched to Shimano Dura Ace.
