Simply Beautiful - Review by Robert

I am so glad that I waited a year as I really liked the look of the Campagnolo Red "11" as well as the slots on the front (2 for Record and 3 for Super Record).

The Hoods:
Campagnolo claims that they have designed a very comfortable hood with increased hand positions. I habitually ride on the hoods as opposed to the drops and I really like the fact that I can ride on the hoods without feeling like my hands are going to slip. The taller tops act like an extension of the levers and allows you to ride on the hoods and still be able to reach the controls (shift and brake).

One thing I did notice though are the rubber tips that go into special grooves can break off - not really an issue, but the hoods are easily replaced.

The Levers:
The levers are definitely beautifully made. Campy claims that the controls can be reached from the drops or the hoods. I definitely agree with this claim as I am spending more time on the drops. The slots on the front definitely add to the look. And the brake release button is something that I really like as you can adjust your brake on the fly without having your hands leave the controls.

Overall, expensive but definitely worth the price. Can't wait for Campagnolo Electronic.
