Designed specifically for road bikes the Racer kit will provide consistent and smooth shifting and amazingly powerful braking. The Racer kit features Jagwire's 4mm derailleur housing lined with its proprietary L3 liner technology. For the brakes we use Jagwire's legendary Kevlar reinforced compression-less Ripcord housing with proprietary L3 liner.

A firm improvement on standard cabling systems 8/10 - Review by Cycling Plus October 2009

With electronic shifting back in the ring, standard wire cables might seem old fashioned. Never-less, rumours of their imminent demise have been greatly exaggerate, as proven by this latest set from Jagwire.

Available as complete universal kits in seven different colours, the stainless inners are double-ended for Campag, Shimano, or SRAM; simply snip off the anchor not required.Single length outers get cut to size. Its Kevlar-sheathed,helical multi-strand design proved to be 30g lighter than the old spiral-wound stuff, matching its claim of 30 per cent weight savings (67g vs 97g). Braking firmed up noticeably and felt extremely slick,while shifting was superb.

Not yet willing to 'fly by wire' but looking to freshen up your traditional 'analogue' cables? Then try these Jagwires for size.

I have this set for my road bike. Its really easy to install, and they give you plenty of extra housing in case you make mistakes. There are clear instructions provided in the packaging too if this is the first time you're installing cable and housing. Good product

Top end quality! - Review by Duncan

This set is about the best value for money you can buy, works well, easy to install, compatible with Shimano systems and after market cables. Quality ferrules/end caps and more housing than you need, so you won't run out of housing or cables won't be too short for whatever project you use on.
