The only pads to use with Reynolds - Review by peter

Having purchased some Reynolds Assault from PBK 18 months ago the time has come to replace the pads. They original pads lasted for 7000kms without any problems. They didn't squeal and provided excellent stopping in both wet and dry conditions. You have to figure that if Reynolds supply these pads with their wheelsets then they must have done the testing. Stick to originals and you can't go wrong.

I have Assault wheelset and tried Swissstop Yellow pad in the beginning with an underwhelming results. It could squeal under moderate breaking and the break fade was considerable during decent. So I tried the blue pad as I felt I had nothing to lose. Thankfully, this brake pad really fixed all those issues for my assault wheelset. Breaking is much much better. No more squeals even going down a mountain. If you have Reynolds carbon wheels, there is no point experimenting. These pads are for you.
