Product Overview

A great way to customise your ride. Hudz have paid attention to the small details that others miss which translates to better function. SoftGrip better shock damping ability than any other competing product. The softer material also maintains its suppleness better in bad weather.

Key Features:

  • SoftGrip material provides 100% more grip than our Original rubber.
  • Less affected by wet and cold weather.
  • Designed for cyclocross and other riding where grip and comfort are worth sacrificing a bit of durability.
  • Maintains versatility of the new lever shape while improving comfort on the top of the hood, and overall grab-ability.
  • Unique underside profiling enhances finger grip.
  • Save approx 7-12g on the standard Campagnolo covers.
  • Strictly to fit pre 2009 10-speed shifters. For current 2010 10-speed Hudz please purchase the 11-speed version.
  • Hudz should be warmed through by placing them in warm water for a few minutes before fitting. This makes them more malleable and easier to fit to your Levers. Please note that Hudz returned that were incorrectly fitted will not be warranted.

Nice but not as good as OEM - Review by Bill

Since campy doesn't make the Ergo/Ultra OEM hoods in any other color but black these offer you the chance to personalize/customize a bit. They offer a pretty good range of colors to suit all tastes, and once installed, they're quite comfortable - maybe even more that the OEM hoods. But that and the color options are where it stops for me. The fit is not nearly as clean as the OEM hoods - the edges stick out quite a bit and they don't fit nearly as tightly/snugly. Also, I got the white hoods to combine with white tape and I can tell you for a fact that the white is actually not quite white (seems to have a bit of grey in it). Now that my tape is starting to dirty up a bit, the difference is not so obvious. Maybe that's what they were aiming for? On top of this, as I said before, it is nice to have color options beyond black, and as such, I'm planning to buy another pair of these in red.
