expensive, but amazing shifting and routing - Review by Andrew
-
I have these on my tri bike, and the shifting is fantastic. The cables are a pain to put together the first time, but after that, replacing cables through the frame and through the aerobars is a breeze. Cables are very lightweight, and are very flexible, which is good for tight bends through the aerobars. Small downsides are the noise they make on the inside of the frame, and the potential for rubbing on the external of the frame. Make sure to treat the exterior cable with rust off to avoid cable degradation.

Worth the time and money - Review by Troy
-
Yes these are expensive cables, and yes they do take more time to setup, but they are still worth it. You get far more adjustability with these when routing the cables. I stupidly pinched my cable under the clamp of my clip on aero bars a half hour before a time trial. I could not shift gears and if I had been using regular cables there wouldn't have been much I could do. With these I used a pair of pliers to break the two pinched pieces off, adjusted the cable tension and I was fine. I even had a PB time for the course. When I got home I just pulled the cable off and replaced the two pieces with some spares I had and everything was good to go!
The only reason I'm not giving these a five is due to the creaking noise they make. If the cables are fairly tight the pieces that make up the outer cable creak slightly. Although I have found using a little oil on them mostly clears that up.

great cable system but expensive! - Review by duzza

needed to replace cables so thought i would try this system and glad i did. they look fantastic and so far have worked flawlessly although i haven't got them wet yet. i have only given them four stars because of the price and also they are a bit more time consuming to fit than normal cables but i thought they were going to be harder to fit than they actually were. will also add that the instructions are absolutely terrible!
