A new eye catching design with 2011 graphics and upgrades across the board make Campagnolo Record not only good looking but a top performer to.
Campagnolo's 11-speed 'Revolution 11' system is the result of technical refinements that have led the 11-speed drivetrains to obtain shifting performances like never before and lose weight, thanks to special materials and innovative technical solutions.
Key Features:
- Chainset - gorgeous but the real surprise comes with the first shift; precise, extremely fast and with no hesitation.
- Ergopower Shifters - carbon fibre blades with air inlets for the aggressive stance.
- Brakeset - calipers differentiated front/back to provide power and feel where it's needed most.
- Rear Derailleur - carbon fibre front plate for lightweight plus ceramic jockey wheel bearings make this the ultimate rear mech.
- Front Derailleur - light and fast with a carbon fibre outer cage.
- Chain - ultra narrow 11-speed design with treated steel links for a long life.
- Cassette - Ultra-Shift technology again provides quick and accurate shifts plus some titanium for good measure.
- BB - Record Ultra-Torque BB cups have been tried and tested.
A groupset typically consists of 8 items - chainset, BB, shifters, brakeset, rear & front derailleur, cassette and chain. Please make sure you select all of these overleaf (an own brand cableset is included with all shifter sets).
Don't forget you can customise your groupset with items like a Nokon cableset or coloured Hudz by clicking 'CUSTOMIZE' above. Please note that with extras (hoods, cables and jockey wheels etc) these will require fitting and you will still receive the original equipment. With the Nokon cables you require 2 sets for a groupset (for brake and gear).
Please note: Groupsets may contain OE parts which won't be boxed. Please make sure you select the correct options on all of your components overleaf.

- The real life flagship group of Campagnolo - Review by Paul

This groupset is the only choice for me. I bought this group purely based on its namesake and looks, but it does not disappoint. I've never tried Super Record before, but I can't see how it can be better. I've never dropped chain and zero shifting issues. I'd rather have 6 steel sprockets than 3(Super Record) for dependability. I'm sure the 100 gram weight difference for the entire group is not noticeable. This is the best group one can buy from Campagnolo.

Campagnolo does get better with age. I have always used Campagnolo and as in the previous models, the groupset is very crisp immediately after installation. Since my first point of contact is the lever/shifter mechanism, my review will focus more on the shifting of the drivetrain. The Record 11 (Revolution 2011), is a great looking group. The shifting is very crisp and precise. It is my first time using a campy chain (used Wippermanns in the past) and I'm really happy I've decided to use the Campy chain this time around (there is no Wippermann option for the 11 speed yet, just KMC).
The crankset is very high quality, although the clear coat on the carbon does tend to scratch easily, I'm going to be extra careful with the bike. The front derailleur shifts flawlessly from small ring to big ring, and vice versa. Absolutely no issues with phantom-shifting under load. The extra gear is great, but not sure how much it will benefit my ride. The dual pivot brakes are so easy to adjust - centring is done by hand, no need to use a brake centring tool. Overall, I love this - can only imagine what the Campagnolo Electronic will feel like.(Posted on 05/04/2011)
