Carbon

This is a mixture of a matting of carbon threads and epoxy resin. Carbon fibre is strong and light and because the manufacturer can decide which direction the fibres go, it can be made stiff in one direction and springy in another.

Also known as a BSA (or sometimes British) thread, this bottom bracket has a 68mm shell width. It uses a left hand thread on the drive side and a standard thread on the non-drive side.

The perfect blend of strength, rigidity and comfort, the new EPQ uses tubing cleverly to give more comfort than the C59 without losing lateral rigidity. The perfect frameset for the performance orientated cyclist who want a little extra comfort.

An evolution of the race winning EPS, the new EPQ is lighter, faster and stronger without sacrificing comfort thanks to the round section tubing used in the front triangle.
As laterally stiff as the raciest Colnago's with features like the super stiff Q-stays, but more comfortable than a C59 Italia thanks to the clever tubing, this is a fantastic frame for the performance orientated rider who seeks a little extra comfort.
