Perfect for training during the british weather
My husband bought me this trainer for Christmas after being sick of me pouting about not being able to get out with the unpredictable and often dangerous weather.
I love it, although static cycling is a tad tedious, I now put it in the living room and watch the bike racing on the TV and try to match the cadence with that of the guys on the TV.
Couple of things to consider. For all it says that it is quiet, that must be in comparison to other home trainers, because I find the whirring and vibration too noisy to use at night in a semi detached house.
The cable to allow you to change the resistance whilst cycling is great but make sure you tuck away the cable. I accidentally had the cable running under the back wheel and managed to melt the sheath round the cable within around 1 minute. Also, depending on whether the cable is straight or wrapped around the bike, appears to change the resistance.
I was a little unlucky with mine as the skewer that they provided with it to mount the back wheel onto the turbo snapped on my first go. However it was clear on looking at it that there was flaw in the metal. On emailing a picture, the company happily replaced the skewer.
All in all, a great buy, especially with the British weather being as it is!
