Come on rain!

I bought these to replace an old pair of Santini's that were perfect apart from a broken zip. They are much more functional looking (but hey they are just there to get dirty anyway!). Good fit above the sole and good chunky zip to make fastening easy. My only gripe is the cut out for the shoe plate is not far enough back to align with my shoes - Large Overshoe and size 43 road shoes. I have to stretch the shoe back to clear the plate and even then the plates don't engage with a click so they still foul. Perhaps a medium would be better.

Water resistant, not waterproof

I received the overshoes yesterday afternoon, and this morning I wore them for their maiden voyage. I was riding my normal one hour commute to work (18.5 miles), and today turned out to be a perfect day to give the new booties a real test. When I left the house at 4:30AM, it was raining lightly. Within 15 minutes, it was a downpour. It wasn’t until I was about five miles into the ride that water began to seep in around the zipper in the rear. By the time I arrived at work, my socks were completely soaked. I know it is difficult to make a good pair of waterproof overshoes, but they are out there. If the rear zipper was protected, I would have likely made it to work with dry feet.

Great in the cold and wet!

Just been on a three-day mini-tour - during the wet, cold Spring we've been having in the UK - and these were amazing. Wore them the whole time, even when it wasn't raining, as they were great at keeping life in my toes. Get them.

Must-Haves for Cold or Wet Roadies!

Great, reasonably priced overshoes. I wore these all winter and they kept my feet warm. I've worn them in light rain and feet stay dry. In heavy, extended downpours - they do ok, but water will find a way in (Either through the cleats, or wicking down the socks, I presume.

Highly recommended.

Excellence booties for riding in rainy and chilly weather

I live in Vancouver and it rains on more days than not during the winter season. After trying the booties made by Bike Nashbar, and a pair of Pearl Izumi shoe covers, I finally found a trusty comrade to protect my feet and my cycling shoe from the elements.

On a typical 2-hour long ride in drizzling rain, these booties completely shielded me from the rain. They are also very comfortable and kept my feet warm.

On longer rides (3 hours or more) and hard rain, your feet will eventually get wet; but they will stay warm.

The neoprene material is of very high quality, and the product is very well designed. The other shoe covers and booties I used before will get scratched and damaged when I clip out and plant my foot on the tarmac, but so far these Endura booties still look new.

The fit is quite well too. I have U.S. 9.5 size shoes (about 43 Europe) and a large size fits them like a glove. The velcro strap also helps to keep the zipper secure.

Highly recommended for weather protection.

Nice and warm

I have been wearing these all winter here in Seattle. They have been warm in our cold rainy (and snowy) weather. They are also pretty durable, as they survived a small black ice crash.
