Perfect for winter

I work outside year round riding as a security cyclist in downtown Columbus Ohio. The gloves so far have been perfect down to about 20 F or so with no problems for two straight hours riding with wind chill factor added it felt like 4F. I have used a small thermisilk glove liner under the gloves when it drops below 20 and have been good to go for at least an hour or two with no problems other than I start to feel cold on just the tips of my fingers after about an hour or more. I just used them today riding in 35 F and heavy rain for two and a half hours and they kept me dry and warm with no leaks or cold seeping through. The gel padding was a bit much on the top of the palm when I first started using them but it has warn down a bit and is perfect now. I am glad it was so thick to begin with so it still has some padding left after wearing down, The pad that connects to the thumb is a bit small for me and I wish it was just a bit bigger. It sucks Seal Skinz does not make this glove anymore but they do make them in a unisex/ ladies glove that is black and green i think that should be just as good only sized a little smaller, so just find a larger size that will fit you on the size scale if you are interested in getting a pair. .

Great winter biking gloves

These are great gloves for your winter biking. I used them last winter in Toronto and they work well down to -10c. Anything below that, I use the sealskinz mitts.

calling this an extra cold weather cycling glove is a joke

After buying a Sealskinz windproof, water proof pair of gloves last winter while in Arizona to do a double century bike ride in southern California, I found that they didn't keep my fingers warm in rain in low 50s fahrenheit. So I just purchased a pair of these so-called Sealskinz Extra Cold Weather Gel Cycling Gloves. They were a major disappointment. My fingers were cold at 45 degrees fahrenheit here in Minnesota this past week. If they are going to give a set of gloves this kind of name, they should at least keep your fingers warm at 32 degrees fahrenheit (0 degrees celsius). Now I suppose I'm going to try their Sealskinz merino wool liner glove. Or, maybe that would be throwing good money after bad.
