I got these after getting the PBK winter bibs with full leg coverage. Really excellent quality on those winter bibs. These look to be the same quality, but ran a touch smaller. Be sure to go up at least 1 size. I would have gone up 2 sizes for these bibs; where going up 1 size in the winter bib tights fit me fine. Losing my winter weight should make them fine. Have only used them a few times, but they seem to be great quality. Time will tell.
I ride about 60 miles/week and purchased these shorts after becoming tired of paying ~$175 for top of the line bibs. First, the chamois in these shorts is very good which is perhaps the most important thing. It's nearly as comfortable as the chamois on my Sugoi RSE's or Specialized PRO SL's. Second, the material is well constructed and durable so should last me several seasons. Third, the leg gripper and silicon bands are narrow (1/2") and slightly uncomfortable and dig in to my thighs. They would be better wider so they don't dig in as much. Lastly, I'm 5'10", 173lbs, 31" inseam, and the Medium is a little to small but I'm afraid the Large would be too big. But perhaps the Large would be more comfortable on the thighs?
