Great Product
If you want a minimalist tool do not buy one with 16 tools, buy several allen's and a small vice grip. You can use a rock to hit a small allen wrench driving the pin out between the vice grip jaws, (I did it once back in the 80's) to repair a chain. But if you want a great durable tool to fix a verity of problems both at home and on the road buy this one. I used this on for all adjustment and repairs for several years though I have shop tools for home repairs now. I have used this on the road to repair/adjust many bikes and it never failed me, still have it 6 years later. It has all the needed tools for road repairs except for juicy disks.
Too much for the road
Multi-tools should be minimalistic. This tool is better suited for the workstand, yet the tool isn't big enough to comfortable wrench on a bike. Overall it's a heavy and clumsy tool, and money could be better spent on a tool that has only what you need to make normal adjustments/repairs on the road, and nothing more.
Simply the Best
Used this tool for years for all types of riding, inc off-road. Has just the tools you need-no more/no less. Unlike most multi-tools, the chain tool actually works. Was able to help 2 other riders fix chains in past 2-3yrs so it does come in handy. Handles double as useful tire levers, And Topeak support is tops. I lost a handle & they sent promptly replacement- no charge.
