Park Tool SR-1 Sprocket Remover/Chain Whip

Excellent tool, easy to use.

Great product

Despite the issue mentioned below, this is another quality park tools product. I do have a separate freewheel remover which eliminates the issue.
The construction is solid and gives confidence in removing a stubbornly fixed cassette.

Who thought this tool up?

I'm all for combining tools, but this one seriously makes no sense! Here's the routine:
1)insert the cassette lock-ring tool into the hole at the bottom of the wrench.
2)grab the cassette with the chain whip.
3) the lock-ring tool is now at the end of the wrench opposite the cassette, so bend the wrench in half so that the lock-ring tool is aligned with the cassette.

Unfortunately the build quality of this thing is high, so I haven't managed step three, yet. If only they spent as much time thinking about the way the tool works as they did making it indestructible.

The one tool cannot be in two different places at the same time. You need two separate tools to remove the cassette, so this hybrid is a waste of your money. Buy the cheaper chain whip & a cheap 1-inch wrench & have money left over for an espresso.
