Time Xpresso 6 Pedals

Excellent pedals. Light. easy to mount and adjust. Very light. I like the freedom of movement which is a knee saver. Clicking in and out is very easy. No more exaggerated heel swings to get out. The old pedals were 7 year old Times.

Jekyll & Hyde

They should have called these Time Gemini as they are great and terrible in one! In general, everything they claim is true. The Time Xpresso 6 Pedals are incredibly fast and easy to get in and out of. The "business side" stays up when you're not clipped in, making it unnecessary to mess with flipping it back over to engage - so nice! From my first ride, they were very comfortable and caused no hot spots at all. I really thought I had found the perfect pedals. And then the squeaking started. Wow! It is the worst noise I have ever heard out of a pedal, and it was on every stroke from the second ride on. My buddies got so sick of it, they wouldn't ride with me most of the way back home. It is awful! You can recreate the noise just by turning your foot side to side while clipped in. It sounds like a really bad, but very loud duck call. Needless to say, they are no longer on my bike, and while my sanity and my buddies thanked me. I can honestly say I am very disappointed.

Great!

I had the previous generation of Time pedals and liked them but had a few issues. The Time Xpresso 6 Pedals solved them all. Easy to engage, quiet when clicking in, yet feel very firm. They're much better than the last pair I had and they work great. Given the cost and performance, I don't think you can do better.
