They cover up scratches on your top tube

These things are useless unless you need them, but they stick on great and will stay on (Mine are still solid after almost a year, some rain riding but not much, never used the tie wraps).

A great use for them is covering up cable rub caused by improperly mounting your bike on a car rack (Bought a used bike that had some paint rub on the bottom of the top tube). Once installed they look natural and cover the defects.
