Simply Wonderful

I upgraded to the Record-D Skeleton brakes from a pair of older Centuar-D Skeleton brakes and noticed a big difference. The Record brakes are noticeably lighter, and their action is unbelievably smooth - even with old cables they are really smooth. The newer pad compound has better modulation and grip than before. The brakes aren't any stronger than older D Skeleton brakes, but Record version with the ball bearing movement is distinctly more smooth. The single pivot rear is more difficult to centre, but with a little experience it is easy enough to get it adjusted and working great.
