PRESS RELEASE – PROBIKEKIT BIKES

We have just taken delivery of limited stocks of our Probikekit frames. We will be releasing these frames for sale as ‘frame only options’ and they can be seen at the following link http://www.probikekit.com/display.php?code=J1076
All sizing information about the frames is as stated in this page. The stocks are as per this page and as such we will not be able to sell frames that are listed as being in stock here.

We will ship the frames as a unit or if you want to purchase all the components required to build a bike through our site we will have the bike built and shipped for you. All of the components required are listed below. You can purchase any set up that you like for the bike and any grade of the components. (subject to availability) Any compatibility problems will be highlighted prior to the bike build up.

Alternatively you can source the components either from ourselves or an alternative reseller and have the bike built at you local bike shop. In this instance any warranty on the bike will only be for the frame only and for components purchased from ourselves.Our warranty will not cover any additional parts added to the bike not sourced from us or damage caused by incorrect installation of any parts ( including those purchased from ourselves) by a third person.

We are currently reviewing our PBK bike policy as the demand for them has been higher than anticipated and we have not been able to stock in large enough quantities for their demand.
We aim to have a PBK issue frame/bike solution for sale on our site within the next 3 months.

To build a completed bike you will need to purchase the following components:

  • Frame (a PBK frame set will include forks, headset, seatpost, expander bolt, adjustable cable guide)
  • Wheelset ( compatible with the groupset)
  • Groupset (chainset/crankset, sti levers, rear mech, front mech, Italian threaded bottom bracket/cups, chain, cassette, caliper brakes)
  • Stem
  • Handlebar Tape
  • Tyres (700mm)
  • Inner tubes
  • Handlebars
  • Saddle
  • Headset spacers
  • Bar tape
  • Pedals
