Plastic on Plastic Design

item is well made and easy to fit, garmin 500 fits in just well and does not damage plastic. Great product of half the cost of similar items
Good kit for the Edge
This is a much better to hold the Garmin edge than the original holder as it provides much more cockpit space. It can be fitted securely on the handlebar and the Garmin sits also firmly.
Ideal for Garmin
I really wanted to keep this but had to return it. Everything about it I liked (quality, configuration, Probikekit price, etc) but so why DID I return it? My GPS is a Bryton Rider 40 and I had read that Brytons often fit in Garmin mounts. The mounts ARE similar but there are differences too - the Garmin mount has two notches in the end of the quarter turn retainers on the underside of the GPS unit that the Bryton does not have, which make the secure fitting even more so. These protrusions in the Bar Fly mount intended to go in these notches prevented the Bryton from locking in position and I was not prepared to start filing away at my Bryton to make it fit. So great disappointment for me but I still think this mount is excellent if your GPS unit will fit it. Neither Bar Fly nor Probikekit said this would fit the Bryton so no criticism on their parts.
1 size does not fit all
The Bar Fly is well made but does not come with anything to adjust the clamp size for thinner handle bars such as mine so I still haven't used it until I can find something to pack it out.

Great functional item. Does what it's meant to do and unlike some other similar products holds the Garmin at the same level as the handlebars.
Bar Fly 2.0
Very secure and stable, no flexing on the move and looks good. Shame it's so expensive for what it is (so only 4Stars...), but better value than the out front garmin and K-Edge equivalents. Recommended..
