Yes, you lose the the ability to carry an additional water bottle but that is easily remedied by purchasing a 32-34 oz bottle. This has plenty of storage and I have no need to carry anything in my jersey pockets as a result. I highly recommend purchasing one!

Very clever idea, idea for shorter rides around town when you aren't wearing a jersey to store your stuff in.
You can fit everything in there; tube, multi tool, pump, patches and a small rain jacket if needed.
