Over 100 years ago, a small, humble company in the heart of France was about to realise its fate. When an English cyclists rolled up on his bike outside the Michelin factory, the Michelin brothers were tasked with repairing the tyre. After much thought and a few battles lost with the task of repairing the Englishman's cycling tyre, the Michelin brothers rose from the struggle with a prototype that was to become one of the best selling tyres in the world. Today, and over 100 years later, Michelin are renowned the world over for their flawless examples of cycling tyres for road bikes. Perhaps now best known for their Michelin Pro 4 cycling tyres series, particularly the Michelin Pro 4 Service Course tyre.
