The Zipp forged AL free hubs are easy to change. The conversion kit includes free hub, end cap, bearing shield and rear hub washer(s). Use these conversion kits for the 10 speed 188 road hub with the black or silver clinch nuts.

Note: If your hub has woven carbon hub caps you need the '06 182 free hub - this free hub will not work as the axel size is too large. Not compatible with Model Year 2013 or 11 speed wheels.

PBK sent me a part that had been taken off another wheel.

this had clearly been taken off another wheel - the packet had camp scored out and shimano written in its place, one of the shims was missing, and the non-drive cap was silver (so from an earlier wheel - should have been red I believe).

for £180 pounds, this is very poor.

Expensive for the quality

Zipp don't offer anything super special in their freehub bodies. These are bog standard dual bearing alum freehub bodies. The splines do get a bit of premature wear so be wary of using non riveted (larger) cogs and make sure you pull apart and clean out pawls and re-oil...they are meant to run relatively dry...oh and make sure you get the 0.025 washer in between the hub and freehub or expect some freehub binding
