Amazingly fast

Very light and fast! I love climbing using these wheels. Crosswinds? Not a problem.

Lightweight, solid wheels

Picked these up at a great price and couldn't be happier. This is my first set of carbon wheels and first time on wider rims. It's easy to see why both are advantageous. They performed solidly in my first race of the year on some sketchy pavement and then came through 4 miles of gravel like champs in another recent race. Confident, smooth, lightweight.

Great wheels - transform my bike

Having spent a good few weeks (and a couple of laps of the cycle show) deciding which wheels to upgrade to I went with the Attacks. First impressions were that the wheels, with 23mm Conti GP4000s fitted, were about the same weight as my Fulcrum Quattros WITHOUT tyres. Promising... On the road, this significant drop in weight (mostly at the rim) translates to a significant improvement in acceleration and climbing performance. They spin up very easily, and this is really noticeable on the hills. The wheels are also very rigid which probably helps acceleration as well, but thanks to the wide carbon rims there's no harshness to the ride - my 23mm conti tyres sit flatter on in the wide profile, which improves comfort, and presumably, grip. Laterally they are as stiff as any wheels I've used, including Zipp 404s, maybe partly down to the relatively high spoke count for a 'modern' wheel. I had a bit of trepidation about the braking performance of carbon rims, but first impressions are that whilst the braking is slightly less progressive than on alloy rims, there's none of the 'seat of the pants' lack of stopping power I was concerned about. Braking power really isn't noticeably different from alloy with the supplied Reynolds 'Cryo Blue' pads. However I haven't yet taken them out in the wet.... My only gripe at the full RRP would be the lack of wheel bags, but at the price I paid I can't complain, especially since my PBK free gift box arrived this morning. Thanks guys!
