The first tubular wheel entirely made of carbon fibre shipped from the Campagnolo works, the lightest in their range and one of the lightest worldwide in absolute terms. The Hyperon use the new Campagnolo CULT bearing technology which guarantees incredible smoothness and long life for the ceramic bearings. In the 2010 version, Campagnolo has improved the dynamic balance of Hyperon Ultra Two wheels: instead of large-section spokes, balancing is now provided by the distribution of carbon fibre on the side opposite the valve. This allows further weight reduction, better aerodynamics and improved aesthetics.

Strong, lightweight, low profile laced to beautifully smooth hubs - 9/10
Leaning on them hard through corners and pushing out maximal sprint efforts, causes little obvious flex, yet they're also pleasantly forgiving on a rough road. The low rotating weight, just over 1,200g a pair, is obvious on the ups, and the ceramic bearings no doubt contribute to what is a fast-feeling set of wheels.
The hardest thing to achieve in a wheelset is the right balance of light weight, stiffness, strength and comfort. Rarely do we see all four successfully combined but Campag's Hyperon Ultra Two's deliver on all counts and in my book that makes them one heck of a set of wheels - but at a price.
