SMP Chrono Saddle Review

After years of lower back pain when on the bike for a reasonable length ride, and years of trying vary fixes (to the bike and myself - seat height, seat position, stem length, doing lots of core exercises etc. etc.) I had another Google a few weeks ago to try to find any other possible solutions. I was directed through the searches to try this saddle type. As I'd just started my spring training routines on the bike I thought why not try once more to solve my back problem... After some searching I found the SMP Chrono Saddle on ProBikeKit and ordered it, for delivery the next day (I was really keen to see if it worked!) The delivery was on time and I tried it out the same day. It worked! After a few more rides there is only one drawback - it is very hard! But my back pain on quite long/hilly rides is gone, and I'm hoping I'll adjust to the sit bone pain with more use... It is an amazing change, and something I wish I had discovered much sooner. I believe it's simply to do with the shape of the rear of the saddle kicking up a bit to compensate for some problem in my sit-bones or whatever, but it does work for me.The saddle is quite small but I'm only 5ft6in so it's fine for me.
