The Time Xpresso 12 Titan Carbon Pedals boast an automatic pre-opening mechanism, which provides an auto step-in engagement with the cleat. With a hollow titanium axle and carbon body with a flexible blade, the pedals have an oversized design to provide 700mm2 of surface contact, whilst the Q-factor adjustment allows you to set the lateral position of your foot. The BioPosition Concept also minimises the distance between your foot and the pedal axle, helping to promote natural movement of your joints. - L.M.

I have always worn time, ever since Lemond, I have every iteration. I even use IClic on a road bike, but these are great. They are light and do the job well. I like there concept and would highly recommend these pedals. They satisfy the weight weenies in all of us. Great service and shipping to the US. Thanks
Got these to replace Iclik which were stolen. These are lighter and snapping in is even easier. Lighter and easier engagment what's not to like. Also PBK's price was very good
I have only had these pedals a short time, so I can't comment on their longevity, but during the time I have had them, I have found the following: Very easy to get in and out of. I was concerned about the engagement at first, but they are very fast. I agree with a previous reviewer... due to the weight of the pedal, they do not always hang the way they really should. These pedals are very light weight. I just hope the construction holds up. I am a larger person. I usually like to ride with pedal extenders. The pedals are very difficult to install with extenders. I opted to go without the extenders because I didnt want to damage the pedal housing trying to attach them to the extender. Over all, so far, I am happy with the product. Time will tell if they continue to impress me.
I was a die hard Speedplay X/1 WW rider for many years, but decided to try the Xpresso 12s after some good reviews, and wanting to see if I could get more support from a pedal, while maintaining the great bio-mechanical benefits of some free play. The Xpresso 12s delivered in spades. Pros: They are the same weight as the X/1s but the cleats are 60 grams lighter. I can feel a huge improvement in the platform support. They have great free float but have enough of an elastic feel to remind your foot where it is supposed to be (not the slipping on ice feeling of the X/1s but better float than any other pedal I've tried). Cons: You can't beat the "stomp and go" of Speedplay. The Xpresso's are easy to get into if you they are in the right position, but they are so light that sometimes they don't hang in a predictable position, I sometimes loose a little time when clipping in, but I feel like they make up for it in foot support and when I'm applying power.
