Affordable and Functional

The Look Keo Easy Pedal are very affordable pedals, in fact for this reason I bought 2 pairs. One for the road bike and one on my indoor training bike. Yes, they are easy to clip in and out of - why else would they be called the Easy pedal. For beginner to intermediate riders they serve good value and are a great way to learn clipping in and out safely whilst still learning your race craft! I have used them in several 100km+ community rides, 3 races and countless training kms.
So do yourself a favour and throw a set of this pedals at your trusty steed.

Great pedals for beginners

After having tried SPD/SPD-SL and Speedplay I finally decided to give these a shot. I like this clipless system best because it is easy to clip in and out of and the grey cleats give me the perfect amount of float. Unfortunately when I bought these I didn't know the tension couldn't be adjusted. I personally didn't feel comfortable enough with the amount of tension these offered so I upgraded 1 week later to the Look Keo Classics.

Great introduction

Having never used clipped in pedals, I didn't know what to expect. After a couple of mishaps forgetting to unclip, I find that these are a great set of pedals for those just starting out.

Great introduction

Having never used to clipped in pedals, I didn't know what to expect, however after a couple of mishaps, I find that these are really good and great set of pedals.

Excellent value

Whether you are a professional or whether you are a beginner.

When I started I made the error of buying the more expensive Look Keo, the problem was the lack of adjustability for super ease. These have the perfect ease to get in and out even after 180km and when the last killer climb drains each ounce of energy that is left.

I would recommend these to anyone who wants to use it as:

1. a starter to the sport
2. Pro you can use Keo Grip cleats to stay firmly placed
3. in need of weight reduction
4. desire something strong that will last

Buy and enjoy.

hmmmm maybe not

Great wind-trainer pedal or spare set to put on spin bike...but pull up hard on these and out you come...even with the black cleats. These are a 'let's try Keo system pedal'...don't do bunch sprints in these unless you like hospital visits

Great pedals and lighter than the more expensive models

Not sure why people are concerned about low spring tension, I raced several races on these pedals, won even one sprint finish without any problems. For the few out there that feel that they generate less power than a HTC sprint train, the price to weight ratio for these pedals is great. No bling - but there is the blade model to cover that.

Stands to the name

If you don't like the stiffness of the other Keo pedals, then this would be perfect for you. Clipping in is easy, and clipping out is even easier. Perfect for a beginner on using clipless pedals!

great value

As a smaller rider, I find the spring tension on these to be perfect, and the pedals are lighter because there is no tension adjustment mechanism

Worth a try if you find standard systems to stiff -8/10

Though not billed specifically for woman there are some good reasons why a lighter spring action may be appealing in a clipless pedal. In general the lighter weight of most woman can make clipping in that bit harder, plus smaller feet means there's less leverage when exiting pedals, so more force is required. Our only niggle with these is the smoothness of the cleats provided, but changing to Keo Grip cleats stopped our feet slipping.
