The Shimano Ultegra RD-6700 Rear Derailleur features a wide link design for fast, accurate shifts and drivetrain efficiency.
Wide outer link plates increase pivot joint rigidity and reduce shifting deflection. The lightweight aluminium pulley cage reduces weight, with no sacrifice to shifting performance. - A.D.

Great birthday price. 1 week from order to California. Happy except picture is silver that I wanted but received grey. I don't see a color description so I went by the pic. Will install tomorrow and should have no problems. Running an 11-32 cassette. If it doesn't reach I will go back to 11-28 cassette.
This is for the 30T model which has a slightly longer cage. Used on my Cervelo P2 to accommodate an 11-32 cassette. Good quality bearings and tight pivot points makes this derailleur a good choice.
Wanted to upgrade my travel bike to take a 30 tooth cassette (mountainous travel destinations and advancing age). Decided to go with Ultegra 10 speed, and needed a longer cage derailleur. Went with the RD 6700, and glad I did. Smooth, positive shifts, and not "wishy-washy". I'd certainly recommend it.
