Garmin Edge 800

I bought this for my husband last Christmas & he loves it. It is extremely reliable and it has really helped his training. The heart rate monitor is really comfy, I have the edge 500 and that strap is much bulkier than the edge 800. The touch sreen is really easy to use, especially to have a quick look at something while riding, this is a feature that my husband loves. Of course he can look at everything he has done by downloading it, It has definatly helped him improve and get stronger even on hills. The memory is excellent too. I researched this for ages and the edge 800 ticked most of the boxes. The only reason I have given it a four is; although it has some mapping, the maps for the cities need to be bought seperate and its more expensive to get the NZ ones, which is a little unfair. Regardless, we would totally recommend this if you are serious about getting stronger and improving your riding strenght and fitness buy this you won't be disappointed.
